Stoneware fruit bowl by Rob Teago, Carron Pottery
Last Easter we borrowed a friend’s cottage in Sheildaig, Wester Ross. It’s a particularly beautiful part of the world and unsurprisingly, as a result there is a thriving artistic community. We spent many glorious days on adventures around the local coastline and mountains, interspersed with delicious ice creams and hot chocolate from Nanny’s (the village café with the best view). I managed to come away without spending much money but couldn’t resist this beautiful bowl. It’s glaze is made with local marine clay and is complimented perfectly by the bronze rim.
