A series about people that have influenced my creative path
My cousin’s grandmother, Eva Mackinnon (1909-1999) was an artist. One day, when in my teens, I spent an afternoon at her house in Dorset. She taught me how to paint using oils. Until this point I’d only been using the more basic paints that were available at school. She was a very patient teacher. I was entranced, and I’ll never forget the experience.
